(Especial Ciea-Sypal) Con plena audiencia, excelentes intervenciones y numeroso grupo de autoridades, investigadores y educadores se llevó a cabo el Primer Congreso de Cultura Investigativa en la Educación Superior de Panamá, Ciesp. Dos días intensos de conferencias, talleres y exposiciones marcaron la dinámica de la actividad, la cual tenía como objetivo fortalecer las competencias de investigadores, estudiantes universitarios, por medio de la transferencia de información en las variadas áreas del conocimiento allí tratadas.
El evento se desarrolló con base en líneas temáticas vertebrales, como epistemología y gestión de la investigación, educación virtual e investigación. La conferencia inaugural, a cargo de la doctora Jacqueline Hurtado de Barrera, Directora Académica y de Investigaciones del Centro Internacional de Estudios Avanzados, Ciea-Sypal, con sede en la ciudad de Caracas, versó sobre los debates epistemológicos de la investigación, los cuales ocupan la actividad científica e impactan la academia y la ciencia.
El Congreso realizado los días 1 y 2 de junio estuvo convocado por la Asociación de Universidades Privadas de Panamá, Auppa, entidad que agrupa importantes instituciones académicas de este país centroamericano, entre las cuales se encuentran: Universidad Metropolitana de Educación, Ciencia y Tecnología, Umecit; Ganexa Universidad del Arte; Hossana International University; Isae Universidad; University of Louisville Panamá; Universidad Internacional de Comercio y Educación, Universidad Panamericana; Universidad Tecnológica Oteima; Universidad Alta Dirección; Universidad Especializada del Contador Público Autorizado; Universidad del Caribe; Quality Leadership University; Universidad del Istmo; Universidad Americana; Universidad Latina de Panamá; Columbus University; Universidad Cristiana de Panamá; Universidad Internacional de Ciencia y Tecnología; Universidad Nuestra Señora del Carmen… La actividad contó con el soporte organizacional del Instituto de Investigación de la Auppa y contó con el apoyo directo de la Secretaría Nacional de Ciencia, Tecnología e Innovación, Senacyt, de la República de Panamá.
