Con éxito comenzó actividad sobre diseño y validación de instrumentos de investigación
(Especial. Caracas). Con la vinculación de selecto grupo de investigadores, científicos y analistas de variados países comenzó diseño y validación de instrumentos de investigación, una actividad cien por ciento on line de orientación, tutoría, asesoría y consultoría científica y metodológica configurada por Ciea-Sypal, dirigida por la psicóloga e investigadora Jacqueline Hurtado de Barrera, directora de investigaciones de esta institución. Esta actividad desarrollada en forma virtual está pensada para todo profesional interesado en la actividad científica y metodológica. A su vez se recomienda para investigadores, tutores, asesores, científicos y profesionales vinculados a cualquier ciencia, disciplina y contexto, sea académico, sociológico, publicitario, estadístico, comunicacional, empresarial.
Según palabras de la profesora Hurtado de Barrera, “este evento compensa de alguna manera el enorme vacío que hay en el campo de las ciencias respecto a la orientación sobre la elaboración de instrumentos de investigación. Además, la actividad se ve urgida por la cantidad de errores que acompaña la tarea de elaborar instrumentos para la investigación, pues suelen estar asociados con un trabajo trivial y de poca rigurosidad científica. Y esto representa un error craso".
Advirtió la profesora Jacqueline que no debe confundirse la actividad de diseñar instrumentos de investigación con un mero efecto técnico estructural de estilo coherencista. "Estas percepciones son de alto riesgo científico. El diseño, de igual manera que la construcción y la validación de los instrumentos es tarea responsable de todo investigador y compete su orientación a tutores, asesores y directores de investigación, entre otros protagonistas de la actividad científica”.
La investigadora Jacqueline añadió que esta actividad está destinada a orientar sobre cómo estructurar los instrumentos en consonancia con cada investigación, lo que implica identificar los pasos que se deben cumplir y el establecimiento de la relación lógica, conceptual y técnica entre evento de estudio, pregunta de investigación, objetivos, método, diseño, técnicas y más”.
Aprovechó la investigadora para comentar que esta actividad cuenta con un equipo de apoyo ejecutivo y organizacional, con profesores como la educadora Sunny Perozo, de la Universidad del Zulia, Marcos Fidel Barrera Morales, filósofo y epistemólogo y el analista de datos Marcos Dafrán Barrera Hurtado.
Estructura de la actividad de asesoría
De acuerdo a la información institucional, tres aspectos medulares se trabajan en este evento a través de también tres módulos, en un estimado de 200 horas, módulos acreditables a la certificación internacional de investigadores:
Primer módulo: Operacionalización de eventos de estudio
Como lo advierte la profesora Jacqueline, la operacionalización es el primer paso para lograr la validez de un instrumento -cumplidos previamente otros pasos de también significativa importancia-. Si la operacionalización se desarrolla correctamente, lo demás es un efecto cascada: el proceso es pertinente, oportuno y correspondiente. Algo importante en este esfuerzo, advierte la profesora, es la identificación de los errores más comunes cuando de construir instrumentos se trata, entre los cuales está la omisión de este paso y, cuando ocurre, la supuesta operacionalización de los objetivos.
Módulo 2. Diseño y construcción de instrumentos de investigación
El módulo relativo al diseño y construcción de los instrumentos de investigación está destinado a estudiar aspectos requeridos para la referida configuración de estos efectos de intencionalidad científica. Esto se soporta también sobre los ejercicios que se cumplen, pues como muchos otros procedimientos, la contrastación de conceptos, argumentos y precisiones, a través de la actividad científica concreta, constituye una excelente forma de aprender en el oficio de los saberes.
Por esto, de acuerdo a la información alusiva, en este módulo se hacen precisiones importantes sobre la estructuración de los instrumentos, previa la consideración de aspectos esenciales, entre los cuales están: medición, dato, escala, cuantificación, requisitos de la medición, escalas de medición. A su vez, técnicas, tipos de técnicas e instrumentos. Proceso general de construcción de instrumentos, esta según el tipo de abordaje. Tablas de operacionalización y de especificaciones de los eventos de estudio. Elaboración de ítems. Selección de parámetros. Puntuación y codificación de respuestas. Guías de observación y entrevista. Cuestionarios, pruebas de conocimiento, escalas, tests. Matrices de análisis. Técnicas sociométricas. Criterios de valoración.
Módulo 3. Validación de instrumentos de investigación
El tema de la validez de los instrumentos corresponde a otro paso importante en la actividad científica y metodológica. Esto, porque la validez no necesariamente la garantiza el cumplimiento de pasos previos, ya que implica esta fase el cumplimiento de ciertos procedimientos que todo científico e investigador debe conocer. Entre otros contenidos, en este módulo se estudian los tipos de validez, los procedimientos para la validación, la confiabilidad. Además, procedimientos para el cálculo de la confiabilidad de diferentes tipos de instrumentos, el análisis y evaluación de instrumentos elaborados. También la elaboración del manual del instrumentos y la precisión de estrategias didácticas.
Cierre
La profesora Jacqueline Hurtado de Barrera, señaló que “La actividad científica es interesante, aún más, es fascinante. Sin embargo, también es rigurosa, exigente y constante. Por eso, atender los variados aspectos que caracterizan la actividad de la investigación es más que apelar a un vademecum o a cualquier manual de metodología, pues la rigurosidad corresponde al mundo de la ciencia, de los estudios y del quehacer académico, y es cónsona con la actitud normal de todo científico. Si se descuida cualquier aspecto medular se corre el riesgo de perder oportunidades de privilegio en el propósito de acceder a los saberes”. Además, adujo, “no basta con el conocimiento meramente instrumental -de métodos, técnicas y recursos complementarios- ya que la actividad científica es triangular, requiere conocimiento metodológico y dominio de aspectos filosóficos y epistemológicos de extrema sutileza pero de evidente efecto en los procesos de la ciencia”.
